Jyoti Kalash Yatra is a travelling flame — a sacred kalash lit from the Akhand Jyoti, the eternal lamp that has burned at Shantikunj since 1926. It is carried in procession from home to home, centre to centre, so that the light born of Gurudev Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya and Vandaniya Mataji's penance can reach every doorstep. More than a ceremony, it is a call: in a time of fading values and restless minds, one lamp is not enough — many lamps must burn together. At AWGP Bengaluru this yatra is also our spiritual preparation for 2026, the centenary year of the divine advent of the Eternal Flame and Mataji.
What Is the Jyoti Kalash Yatra?
We live in a time of changing eras. On one hand, science carries us from the Earth to space; on the other, human values erode, families fracture, and minds grow restless and unsure of life's purpose. In such darkness, a single lamp cannot be enough — many must burn together. Those lamps are awakened souls: cultured people and seekers walking the path of service, spiritual practice, self-study and yagya. The Jyoti Kalash Yatra carries the flame of the Akhand Jyoti — kindled by Gurudev's penance and inner strength — out into the world to make it more intense, more inspiring, and within reach of every home. The kalash is not an ordinary light; it is the divine radiance of era construction, and the yatra is the resolve of sensitive seekers to make their own lives a moving, living flame.

The Purpose of the Yatra
The yatra carries four intertwined purposes. First, to intensify the continuous light of the Eternal Flame, making it more inspiring and far-reaching. Second, to take that light — born of the penance, sacrifice and forbearance of the Rishi couple — into every home, mind, centre and institution, awakening an ascetic spirit and building ideals in each family. Third, to reach the homes and hearts still untouched by Gurudev's thoughts, literature and call of duty, gently turning lives toward austerity and service. And fourth, to prepare for 2026 — the centenary year of the divine advent of the Akhand Jyoti and Vandaniya Mataji in 1926 — by celebrating it as an ideological festival and a fresh opportunity to rebuild life.

Awaken and Connect
The yatra is not an ordinary procession but a spiritual campaign — and its true meaning is realised only when we awaken what has gone quiet and connect with every heart we meet. That means rekindling sleeping centres, restarting stalled activities like literature distribution, wall-writing and deep yagya, and lovingly calling back individuals in whom the spirit of service once stirred. Gurudev taught that deities reside not in temples but in hearts, so we seek out the 'divine humans' around us — the selfless, the idealistic, the service-minded, the truth-loving — and connect them with the era's consciousness. Our part is only to connect; Guru's presence does the rest. A simple two-step journey helps: first a visit to the nearest centre for mandal, yagya, satsang or Bal Sanskar, and then, when the heart is ready, a stay at Shantikunj, where the atmosphere keeps them connected for life.

Personal & Collective Sadhana
Let every seeker's heart become a temple for the yatra — daily personal chanting, morning worship, collective evening prayer, and regular self-study, so the soul is emotionally ready for this divine event.
Yagya, Deep Yagya & Sanskar
Where there is yagya, divine consciousness descends. Organise Deep Yagya, Gayatri Yagya and sacraments (Mundan, Yajnopaveet, Diksha) in homes, neighbourhoods and centres so the atmosphere is collectively purified to welcome the Jyoti Kalash.
Public Relations & Awareness
Go door to door with copies of Akhand Jyoti, introduce the Rishi couple's plan, and explain the yatra as a divine ritual. This is not mere publicity — it is the transmission of consciousness, lighting the lamp of faith and understanding.
